With its three research focus areas – energy-efficient production processes, the human factor in technology and intelligent systems and materials – the Chemnitz University of Technology is involved in two top clusters and is funded as part of the Excellence Initiative of the federal and state governments. In addition, Chemnitz University of Technology creates excellent support and career conditions for young academics in these fields.
