Sächsische PCM Energy GmbH acquires majority stake in swilar eetec

PCM Energy GmbH has expanded its leading market position by acquiring a majority stake in swilar eetec GmbH from Landsberg am Lech, a strong competitor in the European mobile heating market.

All current and future projects at swilar eetec are now supported by the expertise and manpower of PCM ENERGY. The first milestone announced in the current financing round on the www.fundernation.eu platform has therefore already been achieved and “We are continuing to grow!” says Peter Gäbelein, CEO of both companies.

BADI project in Switzerland uses waste heat from waste incineration

To date, swilar eetec GmbH has delivered 15 mobile latent heat storage units in Germany and Switzerland, which have proven themselves in intensive use. Swimming pools, office buildings, a local heating network etc. are supplied with transportable heatin a CO2-neutral way. The technologies of swilar eetec are protected by patents for the structure and integration.

The mega storage system developed with a heat storage capacity of up to 2.5 MWh has already been very well received at the first customer presentations. The associated high efficiency and greater range in particular are boosting demand. This gives mobile heat utilization a further boost in attractiveness for industry, municipalities, housing cooperatives and many more.
