LIOFIT MAKES YOUR LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES FIT!

Liofit GmbH in Kamenz (Saxony) has been reconditioning lithium-ion batteries for bicycles since the beginning of 2013. The focus is on an ecologically sustainable approach right from the start. The company is also working on its own batteries, including modern circuit board and protection technology.

Liofit repairs all types of lithium-ion batteries for eBikes, pedelecs, e-scooters, Segways and other vehicles, regardless of manufacturer. Around 99% of all batteries can be repaired, improved and optimized – including many LiFePo batteries. It is possible to replace cells in almost all batteries, and repairing the control electronics (=BMS) is becoming increasingly common. If a battery cannot be repaired, Liofit will organize the necessary replacement parts or offer you a replacement or new battery at a reasonable price.

Liofit is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and the Saxon Ministry for Economic Affairs, Labour and Transport as part of the IPCEI battery cell production programme and will optimize the dismantling of used batteries and further develop the test methods for battery cells in the coming years. The company is also planning a pilot plant in which the mechanical recycling of batteries is to be further developed.
