Goodyear is one of the largest tire companies in the world. The company employs around 72,000 people and manufactures its products in 57 plants in 23 countries around the world. The innovation centers in Akron, Ohio, Colmar-Berg, Luxembourg and Hanau, Germany, strive to develop state-of-the-art products and services that set the technology and performance standard for the industry. The Group portfolio includes the tire brands Goodyear, Dunlop, Fulda, Sava and Debica.
Goodyear Germany GmbH employs around 650 people at its Riesa site and produces summer and winter tires for passenger cars from 15 to 19 inches and speeds of up to 300 km/h. Goodyear Dunlop will continue to invest in state-of-the-art facilities and the continuous expansion of capacity at the site in Saxony. Since July 2022, the company has been actively shaping hydrogen issues in the “Industriebogen Meißen” region as a member of the “Wasserstoffland Sachsen” innovation cluster.
