Felix Schoeller, headquartered in Osnabrück, has been a family business since 1895. With more than 3,700 employees at 19 locations in 11 countries, the company develops, produces and markets specialty papers for photographic applications, for digital printing systems, for the packaging market, for self-adhesive applications and for the furniture, wood-based materials and wallpaper industries worldwide.

FUTURE VISION

The Weißenborn plant near Freiberg produces photographic and digital printing papers for various industries and markets. With a lighthouse project, the company wants to prove that the energy-intensive paper industry is actively addressing the issue of sustainability and is developing and implementing strategies for an 80% CO2 reduction by 2030 as well as circular economy concepts at the Weissenborn site.
