REFERENCE – BUILDING OF THE TU DRESDEN MADE OF CARBON CONCRETE

As general planner and research partner, AIB planned and developed a building made entirely of carbon concrete for the TU Dresden (Institute for Solid Construction) in the project “CUBE Result House of the C³ Project”, funded by the Federal Ministry of Science and Research, together with partners from industry and research. Two roof-wall components twisted in opposite directions demonstrate the free formability of the composite material and an inserted, cuboid structure made of prefabricated parts proves the suitability of the carbon concrete construction method for everyday use and mass production.
