MINERAL WASTE
REIKAN processes and disposes of all mineral waste in accordance with the Closed Substance Cycle Waste Management Act (§7 (2) KrWG). This includes types of waste such as soil and stones, dredging spoil, building rubble, road rubble, track ballast, construction waste containing gypsum, slag/ash/sand and road sweepings.

BUILDING MATERIALS AND RC PRODUCTS
REIKAN processes valuable building materials from construction and demolition work properly and in an environmentally friendly manner as secondary raw materials or RC products. These recycled building materials are ideally suited for use in road, traffic area and path construction, as well as for privacy and noise barriers or even, as high-quality RC concrete, for the construction of bridges and warehouses.

PLASTIC RECYCLING
The recycling of plastics, whether for raw materials, materials or energy, is becoming increasingly important. REIKAN not only offers modern systems for sorting, processing and recycling plastic recyclates, but is also innovatively looking for new approaches to feed recyclates back into the circular economy, e.g. as high-quality packaging material.

THERMAL UTILIZATION
Thermal recycling is a special process for separating organic contaminants from inorganic materials – primarily metals. In this way, the metals can be returned to the economy. To this end, REIKAN offers unique smelting plants at its Freiberg and Mittweida sites, which provide pure, recycled aluminum for industrial use. With the patented Pyradec® pyrolysis process, REIKAN also offers sensible waste recycling, e.g. for generating electricity.
