The business areas primarily include projects with wind and solar energy as well as hybrid systems with storage for industrial applications.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The company belongs to Mannheim-based MVV Energie AG, one of the largest municipal energy suppliers in Germany. JUWI has its headquarters in W\u00f6rrstadt near Mainz and branches in Hanover, Brandis (Saxony), Stuttgart, Bochum and Franconia. Windw\u00e4rts Energie GmbH, also a subsidiary of MVV Energie AG, has also been part of the JUWI Group since summer 2022. JUWI was founded in Rhineland-Palatinate in 1996, Windw\u00e4rts in Lower Saxony in 1994.<\/p>\n\n<p>JUWI employs more than 1,100 people worldwide and has projects on every continent. There are branches in Germany, Italy, Greece, South Africa, the USA, Japan, Australia, India, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and Singapore.<\/p>\n\n<p>To date, JUWI has realized more than 1,200 wind energy plants with an output of more than 2,800 megawatts at around 200 locations worldwide in the wind sector; in the solar segment, the company has installed around 1,850 PV plants with a total output of around 3,250 megawatts. JUWI&#8217;s operational management manages wind energy and photovoltaic systems with an output of more than 4,100 megawatts.
